What is phospholipid exchange?
Phospholipids are the fats that make up the membrane around every cell in the body, which controls what passes in and out of the cell.
A phospholipid IV, often called phospholipid exchange, gives phospholipids directly into the bloodstream. It’s thought to support healthy cell membranes and the body’s natural detoxification pathways, and is often part of a plan put together by a doctor or practitioner.
