What is PRP?
PRP stands for platelet-rich plasma. We take a small sample of your blood and spin it in a centrifuge to separate the plasma, which is rich in platelets. Platelets are best known for their role in healing. They contain growth factors, natural proteins that help signal the body’s repair and renewal processes. On the scalp, these growth factors are thought to support the hair follicles and a healthier scalp, for healthier-looking hair. Because PRP comes from your own blood, nothing artificial is added.
